Do you love Thailand, but shy away from frenetic tourist hotspots? Fret not, Koh Mook located in Trang Province which generally found on a lesser-trodden path. filled with stunning & interesting sceneries.



One of the popular destinations in Trang Province is Koh Mook, often known as Ko Muk. This island is famous for the Emerald Cave, a cave that can only be crossed by swimming through a pitch-black tunnel. Once you reach the other end, you will be amazed by a beautiful beach, which is said to have once been a pirate hideout. An experience that you will certainly not forget that soon!



Not only the sea cave is unique, the whole island is a dream! As a part of the Chao Mai National Park, a large part of Koh Mook consists of jungle landscape and thus a lot of untouched nature awaits you. In addition, there are some great spots to go snorkeling around Koh Mook, where you can even spot clownfish and giant starfish.


How to Reach Koh Mook from Bangkok


First you need to go Trang

There is no direct connection from Bangkok to Ko Muk. However, you can take the train or bus to Don Mueang Airport, There are several flights a day from Bangkok to Trang, you’re about an hour and a half away. It is also possible to take the sleeper train or bus to Trang.


From the Kuan Tung Pier (Trang) to Koh Mook

If you come from Trang take a taxi to the Kuan Tung Ku Pier, this pier is located almost opposite Koh Mook. After that there is a crossing with a longtail boat of about 20 minutes. There is also a ferry several times a day to Koh Mook, which takes about half an hour. Most people book a combination ticket from Trang. This is cheaper than if you have to rent your own longtail boat at the pier.
